All Ages: Celebrate 30 incredible years of Family Learning Day at the Vigo County Public Library—and discover fun, excitement, and learning opportunities that everyone will love! This year, meet Indiana Jim’s sleek, scaly, and slithery friends from around the world. Marvel at a rainbow boa, a native to the Amazon River basin, and its color-shifting scales; encounter the Malaysian python, known to be one the world’s largest snakes; say hello to a red-footed tortoise from Central and South America; and discover even more of the fascinating reptiles Indiana Jim brings with him.

After you’ve visited the reptiles, take a trip down Wabash Avenue to climb, explore, and learn about all kinds of large vehicles, from fire trucks to farm equipment! Then dive into a Foam Homies’ Bubble Party and create bubbles using wands and other toys, dance along to the beats of DJ Danny Wayne, cool off with a freshly made sno-cone, and stop by a book tent to select a new book. Local organizations and businesses will be on hand with crafts, activities, and information that will benefit you and your family.
