Ages 12–18: When water and shelter are difficult to obtain, small items like a toothbrush or a warm blanket can make a difference in someone’s self-esteem and physical well-being! Stop by the Main Library any time between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 22 to help assemble hygiene kits and create tie blankets for the local homeless population while you meet others who share your interest in giving back to your community. Hygiene kits and blankets will be distributed to organizations that support the homeless throughout the community.
