Job Seekers: Mastering the Job Search

Searching for a new job is no longer limited to making phone calls to see if potential employers are hiring or going door-to-door to distribute your résumé. You can take your job search online! Learn tips and tricks on how to identify the best job search websites, use advanced search options, and more with help from Vigo County Public Library’s librarians. 

Job Seekers is a series of programs to help you develop professional skills that will aid you in your job search. This series is brought to you in partnership with Goodwill Industries, Inc., Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, Ivy Tech Community College, and the Wabash Valley Human Resources Association. Attend any Job Seekers program to be entered into a drawing for a ten-dollar Goodwill voucher to put towards your professional wardrobe. Prize drawing will be held at the end of the series of programs.
