All Ages: Travel back in time with Vigo County Historian Suzy Dunning and learn more about historic Collett Park, the oldest park in Terre Haute. Collet Park was established in the 1880s on property donated by railroad entrepreneur and philanthropist Josephus Collett and was a popular location for horse-and-buggy rides, band concerts, and picnics in the early 1900s.
The group will meet at Collett Park's Pavillion for the tour. In the event of bad weather, the tour will be held as a presentation at the 12 Points Branch Library.
