History Walk: 12 Points as a Business Center

Ages 7 & Up: Join Vigo County Historian Suzy Dunning for a guided tour of the 12 Points Historic District’s notable landmarks, past business highlights, and current businesses that enliven the area.

Attendees will meet outside the 12 Points Library. Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the weather. Sidewalks in the area may be uneven. Refreshments will be available at the 12 Points Library after the tour.

In her role as curator of the Vigo County History Center, Suzy Dunning is a valued source for researching local history and has worked to develop many inspiring exhibits and programs. She was appointed as the Vigo County Historian by the Indiana Historical Society, September 2023. Her historical writings are found in the Terre Haute Tribune Star, and other local publications. She also serves as Secretary on the Board of 12 Points Revitalization.
