Begin your journey in bookbinding with the most essential element: paper. Papermaking is an ancient art that dates back two thousand years to the Han dynasty in China and spread to other regions via the Silk Road. In the first program of this series, you will learn how paper is made from fibrous materials and create your own paper using recycled materials.
