West Side Book Club: Generations Sharing Stories

Ages 6+: This summer, our Westside Book Club is focusing on children and adults reading books together. Finding books that entertain children and delight grown-ups alike, can be a challenge, but we can get you started with monthly book recommendations. In July, we will be reading and discussing the National Book Award Finalist "When Stars are Scattered" by Victoria Jamieson. This graphic novels follows Omar and his nonverbal brother Hassan as they navigate life in a refugee camp in Kenya. This unique book club encourages intergeneration connection, sharing diverse perspectives, and reading together as a family.
