Program Description

Event Details

Best known for his organic architecture and a herald of the Prairie School movement in the early 20th century, Frank Lloyd Wright is one of America’s most prominent and prolific architects. Learn more about Wright’s work, philosophy, and ground-breaking techniques along with stories gleaned from interviews with Frank Lloyd Wright homeowners and former students with Jeff Hagen, an artist, author, and former senior guide at Wright’s Taliesin North estate in Wisconsin.

Hagen is a retired art teacher from the Madison, Wisconsin school system and co-wrote the Frank Lloyd Wright curriculum for the Madison Metropolitan School District. He has also served as a senior guide at Wright’s Seth Peterson Cottage (Wisconsin) and Samara (Indiana). He has published articles on Wright and painted watercolors of many Wright buildings across the US.
