Program Description

Event Details

Ages 12 & Up: Build your own world from the ground up at Fantasy Mapmaking. Use paper and rice to create your land masses and coastlines, then add towns, cities, forests, and more to make a custom map you can use for your next gaming session, for writing inspiration, or for a piece of wall art. After you’ve made your map, learn how to scan it into InkScape, a free vector art program, and turn it into a file that can be engraved on faux leather using the Haute Create laser cutter.
