Event Details

All Ages: It’s been 819 years since a total solar eclipse occurred in Sullivan County. Make sure you and your family are ready with a handy primer that will review the nature of an eclipse, the history of eclipses, safe observation of an eclipse, and expectations for Monday, April 8, the day of the last eclipse in the United States for twenty years! Weather permitting, a solar telescope will be available for you and your family to view the sun beginning at 2:00 p.m.
