Design for Laser Cutting

Ages 15 & Up: Turn your ideas into stylish 2D creations or incredible 3D models you can fabricate on a laser cutter with Inkscape, a free, professional vector-illustration program. In this two-hour workshop, you will learn the differences between raster and vector graphics, as well as important laser cutting concepts like kerf and tolerance, while you create your own design. Your designs will be cut with the laser cutter by Haute Create staff and available for you to pick up during the following week. 

To use Haute Create’s laser cutter yourself, you will need to complete the Intro to Laser Cutting course.
