Event Details

In 2012, former teacher Brian Vukadinovich was laid off from his job at Hanover Community Schools. In 2013, he filed a suit against the school board with a multi-count complaint that included accusations of age discrimination, retaliation for a previous lawsuit, and the violation of his rights in the termination process. Throughout a four-year legal battle, which carried him from state courts to the United States District Court of Northern Indiana, Vukadinovich didn’t just take the witness stand. He presented his arguments while acting as his own legal counsel and won. Now recognized as a renowned pro se litigator, Vukadinovich will review the strategies that helped him win his case and inspired his book, A Motion for Justice.
