Art of the Book: Creating the Pages

Bound books appeared in Rome in the 4th century, though parchment and labor made them expensive. In the second installment of Art of the Book, you will get hands-on experience binding your own book with century-old techniques by folding handmade paper, cutting pages to size, and stitching signatures together to make a book block. Supplies will be provided.
